Hello, I’m a designer with over 10 years of professional experience spanning user interface design, service design, product design interactive installations, design strategy and design research. I’m currently an Interaction Designer for Google in London where I’m a team lead, working on the next generation of core applications and services, Android OS, and Google Nexus devices.

I started out studying Product Design at the Glasgow School of Art, where I was awarded the Newbery Medal for outstanding achievement in the 2001 graduation year. I went on to work in design consultancies in Australia, and at npk design in the Netherlands. Developing a variety of projects from the design strategy of new drink lines to educational toys for young children.

I returned to college in 2003, studying an MA in Interaction Design at the Royal College of Art, London. Where, amongst other things, I created projects for urban spaces. An exploration I continued at Intel Research Berkeley in California until 2006.

Before joining Google, I worked at Nokia Design and INQ Mobile in London, leading projects both in-house and with external agencies.
